The Catskill Symphony Orchestra (โCSOโ) is central to what makes Upstate New Yorkโs Catskill and Leatherstocking region so special. Founded in 1953 and officially incorporated in 1974, the CSO has dazzled countless audiences and provided the region with continuous, live symphonic music throughout the years.
With strong community support, an exceptional composition of professional union musicians and devoted leadership, the CSO is steadily growing and remains Upstate New Yorkโs premier hometown symphony orchestra.
Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, the CSO offers FREE tickets to all school-age students and well as up to two (2) adult companion. College student are welcome as well with their Student ID.
